The Band The BOTTLE BROTHERS are professionals , we do this for a living ! We pride ourselves on being reliable, punctual and well presented. As professionals we want everyone at your wedding reception to have a great night, because our jobs depend on it ! Bearing this in mind we rely on word of mouth and recommendations, We could tell you how good we are but the best way to be sure is to come and see us. Contact us to find out where we are playing near you. Your wedding is a very special day - and night - you should expect, and receive, the best from your band. As professionals we will be there on time, we will look the part (black shirt, pants, and shoes), we will not drink, and we will do our best to work with and around the hotel staff and your guests to ensure everything runs smoothly. Our sound system is state of the art and we bring our own lighting to complete the package. We are very carefull not to be too loud as some of your guests may want to chat while taking a break from dancing. During super break and before kick off we will provide backround music through our system and we will take care of any announcements/presentations.

The Music

Our set list includes all the standards such as "sweet caroline" and "good looking woman" as well as Irish tunes, rock 'n roll, jives, waltz's, ABBA, Elvis, Beatles, Monkeys, Van the Man, Mundy, slow songs and a wide range of hits from the 60's to todays best party hits. There is a simple rule for wedding music - play something for everyone. Having a tribute band of your favourite artist might be your idea of a fantastic night but remember, there will be a wide range of ages and musical tastes present and to ensure a full dance floor your band need to play "something for everyone". All the songs in our set list are tried and tested floor fillers, from Mama Mia to Galway Girl and everything in between. If there is a special song you would like us to play let us know in advance and we will do our best to include it in our set.

The Disco

Relax we're professionals ! Let us take care of the nights entertainment with our band and disco package. Our full live set (no matter what time we start), followed by the best in party hits, chart toppers and any special requests you might have. There's no waiting, the disco starts while the last chord of the last song is still ringing ! Our disco will ensure the night finishes on a high as your guests bop until the small hours to the best dance floor hits from todays charts right back to the classic party hits of the 60's 70's 80's and 90's. We can taylor parts of the disco to your own tastes to make sure your favoutie songs are played and requests are not a problem as our catalouge of songs is into the 1000's. This is the part of the night when we will MC the throwing of the bouquet and the garter removal if required. Great music, great sound, great lights, props and a bit of craic are the recipe for a great night.

The Details

We will be at the venue at 8:30 to be ready for 9:30 start (providing the meal is not running late). Our set up time is approximately 40 mins. In most venues the band cannot set up until the room has been cleared, this allows your guests to stretch their legs, have a chat and mingle after the meal. This is a good time for the bride and bridesmaids to "freshen up" before the dancing kicks off. We will break the ice with the guests before introducing the bride and groom for their first dance, inviting the rest of the bridal party to join them about half way through. There is usually a supper break at around 11:00pm, at this time we will take a short break ourselves (approx 15mins) and provide backround music for your guests. Nearing the end of the live set (between 12:00 and 12:30 depending on start time) we will organise the "send off" for the bride and groom and after an encore we will launch into the disco while the floor is still full. The disco finishes at 02:00am unless otherwise arranged. Now off you go to the residents bar for a session!
